Graham was our Captain for the trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point. He and his family before him have been running these trips from Morston for the past 50 years. The Bean family are Norfolk legends and, to many, they are synonymous with this unspoilt remote stretch of the coastline. A visit to see the seals is a must do when visiting these parts and today’s excursion did not disappoint. Along with nine other hardy souls, we saw a colony of around fifty common seals basking in the cold early morning grey skies. We left much the wiser about both the habitat and the mammal thanks to Graham’s informative commentary, and would highly recommend the experience.
